Brain tumour diagnosis leads mom
down unimaginable path

It was a brain tumour diagnosis that Natasha Lewis never saw coming. The mother of three remembers waking up with a strange symptom — her tongue was twisted to the left. Three days later, her life changed. Tests revealed a tumour in her brain. Because of the complexity of her diagnosis, The Ottawa Hospital was the only hospital in the region equipped to help her.
