Marcie’s life in a single instant

Marcie Stevens was one of 13 severely injured patients who arrived at The Ottawa Hospital Trauma Centre after the Westboro bus crash. Rushed into the operating room, she woke up to a different life.


Marcie lost both of her legs.


One year later she continues her recovery at the Rehabilitation Centre, grateful for the care she has received at The Ottawa Hospital.
