Surgery technique that leaves abdomen open saves a life
Phyllis’ life was on the line. A twist in her small intestine was causing it to die, until a mid-surgery decision to leave her abdomen open for two days saved her life. Grateful for the care she received, Phyllis gave back in a special way.
